Two moving documentaries in which we see how generations are connected through people, memories and heritage. Films about friendship, history and the stories that live on.
In Vriendschap zonder grenzen, a moving reunion brings together two women who formed a special friendship in Suriname eighty years ago. Their shared history shows how personal relationships can endure for a lifetime and continue to inspire new generations.
In Werehpai, People of Here, we follow filmmaker Raoul Roeplal on his quest to uncover the meaning of the ancient rock carvings of Werehpai. During this journey, he discovers that history is preserved not only in stone monuments, but above all in the stories, knowledge and memories of the people who feel connected to them.
